 | | Are normally included as part of the asphalt heating and storage system. They are used for asphalt cement, hot oil and fuel. An asphalt unloading pump with strainer (shown) is used to unload asphalt from delivery trucks. Another asphalt pump is used to supply asphalt from its storage tank to the drum mixer or batch plant. Asphalt pumps are positive-displacement pumps and have heating jackets. Unloading pump sizes range from 3 to 5 inches. Supply pumps range from 2-1/2 to 5 inches.
