 | | Stores fuel and protects against accidental spillage. The tank has a secondary enclosure to keep the fuel from escaping from a leak or rupture in the primary tank. The main concern is for the environment. However, the containment also minimizes the impact of an accidental spill on operation of an HMA facility. The containment enclosure is fabricated from steel. On portable tanks the enclosure is a second tank that fully encloses the main tank--a double-walled tank.
