| | Melts solidified asphalt cement stored in barrels. A built-in hoist and trolley handle the barrels to place them atop the unit. Heat is applied to the barrels causing the asphalt to drop as a slug into the insulated tank of the unit where the asphalt is heated to mix temperature. The unit includes a thermal fluid heater that provides hot oil for the heating coils that heat the tank. The unit also includes a pump system to transfer the liquid cement to other equipment for storage. Several models are available with capacities ranging from 3.2 to 8 tons per hour. Available in portable models (shown) and in stationary models. |
