Control panel on our thermal fluid heaters used at HMA plants. Meets requirements of NEMA 4.
We design and make the controls for our heaters, tanks, polymer systems and related products. Advanced controls for our automated systems are computerized and employ PLCs.
We use a variety of enclosures for our control panels, including those classified for hazardous locations in NFPA code. According to the code, Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 are locations where fire or explosion hazards may exist due to flammable gases or vapors.
We assemble and wire the control panels inhouse to meet our exacting standards of workmanship. Wiring workmanship is meticulous. All wires and terminals are labeled for easy identification of circuits.
We also provide motor control centers built by Astec for operation of asphalt terminals and emulsion plants. The control center centralizes all electrical power for the terminal and for the motor controls. The controls are housed in a series of electrical racks and panels.
The motor control center is housed in a steel structure, enclosed with metal walls, ceiling and floor. It includes HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning).
