October 17, 2007: Heatec is saddened to announce that David Jones passed away on September 8 in Dothan, Alabama. Jones served as Marine Industry Sales Manager.

Mr. Jones spent much of his professional life in the asphalt industry. At one point in his career he owned a company that designed and built hot mix asphalt plants. He began working for Heatec in 1997, and served as Northeast Regional Sales Manager for 8-1/2 years. In October 2006, Jones took on the role of promoting Heatec cargo heaters in the marine shipping industry. He will be missed.
