October 2, 2006: David Jones has been appointed as Marine Industry Sales Manager for Heatec. In his new position, Jones will concentrate on promoting Heatec cargo heaters in the marine shipping industry. Heatec designs, manufactures and services cargo heaters for barges that transport liquid asphalt, black oil and other bulk liquids.

Jones previously served as Heatec's Northeast Regional Sales Manager for 8-1/2 years. He has worked for Heatec since 1997, and will continue to be based at his home office in southern Alabama. Jones will represent Heatec at the International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans, November 29–December 1, 2006.
